Rachael Freeland
Friday, November 10th, 2006As we move through the hustle and bustle of every day life, it can often be challenging to find a moment to stop and smell the roses (what roses? I didn’t notice any roses). For me the power of yoga, is in its increasingly subtle levels of connection; with our body, our breath, our mind, with the present moment and all that that moment has to offer us
Rachael completed her teacher training with the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy (CAE) and is an accredited member of the YTAA (Yoga Teacher’s Association of Australia). She also has a professional background in psychology and counseling. She is currently completing a Yoga Therapy course to more effectively combine her two passions, and delve more deeply into the healing power of yoga.
Rachael currently teaches both adult and children’s yoga classes at a number of locations around Melbourne. She is also available to tailor private yoga classes for individuals, couples or small groups - either in the studio or at their homes.

Deb Bayne
Friday, November 10th, 2006I am a mother of two primary school age children, who has been practicing yoga for my own sustenance for years. In my teaching I hope to share with others the benefits of a regular yoga practice. This applies to everyone, not just people who are flexible, or who are fit and young. If you can breath and have self awareness then you can practice yoga. In my classes I encourage people to listen to and be guided by their own bodies. Yoga is not about holding a difficult pose, it is about living to fulfill your potential and being comfortable in your own skin.
